Programme Content/Outcomes
Most of the time the term stress is seen as an overused word and an excuse to take time off by the employees.
Hence managers seem not to take it seriously, but it is an important issue for all managers and organisations.
Stress is now recognised as an illness by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1947, and if organisations do not take it seriously, they are breaking the law!
Many UK organisations take this subject very seriously and create Stress Management Policies and Occupational health Schemes.

This module examines stress management in the workplace.
