Safeguarding children helps to address the 'stay safe' outcome of the Government’s Every Child Matters’ policy. The aim of this module is to concentrate on ways in which children can stay safe by minimising the incidence of child abuse and neglect.

The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.

This module is aimed at young people who work with children or other young people for example as young volunteers, peer mentors, babysitters etc.

There are no specific entry requirements for this module.

This product allows the student to print a certificate from the course on sucessful completion.

The recommended settings to run this course are:
